Members of the Acorn Club of Philadelphia are invited to a private, behind-the-scenes tour of the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Special Collections and Rare Book Department on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

Guided by expert curators and librarians, this exclusive experience offers a rare look at one of the nation’s largest and most diverse public rare book collections. During this tour, you'll encounter extraordinary materials spanning the history of written communication (from early manuscripts to modern works) while learning how these collections support research, education, and public discovery. Join us for an intimate look at literary treasures and fascinating stories.

Space is limited to 25 guests, and advance registration is required.

Please email Stephanie Lin LinS@freelibrary.org or call (215) 814-3513 with any questions or concerns.
