Philadelphia is a city of firsts. The birthplace of democracy, innovation, and American intellectual life. And for the first time, the Free Library of Philadelphia Foundation is bringing that legacy to one of the nation's most influential cultural stages.
Untold Stories that Built America is a signature cultural gathering that celebrates Philadelphia's extraordinary place in history through the power of storytelling, authorship, and community. Set during the Martha's Vineyard Black Book Festival and Black Philanthropy Month, this intimate brunch brings together 75 to 100 VIP guests, authors, civic leaders, philanthropists, and sponsors for an experience as meaningful as it is memorable.
This is a city that shaped the nation's story. This event is where that story gets told.
Guests will enjoy a seated brunch featuring interactive engagement, and curated conversation at The Harbor View Hotel on Martha’s Vineyard: https://harborviewhotel.com/
Space is limited to 75–100 guests and registration is required. Martha's Vineyard accommodations during this week fill quickly. We encourage you to secure your travel and lodging as soon as possible.
Register today. Philadelphia's story deserves to be heard, and this is the room where it happens.
